Filoli — a National Trust for Historic Preservation site — opens its spectacular 654-acre estate and formal English gardens for spring public days. The 16-acre formal garden reaches peak bloom March–May with thousands of tulips, daffodils, wisteria, cherry blossoms, and roses. Regular open days include guided tours, self-guided garden walks, and café. Special ticketed events throughout the season include: Volunteer Weekend, Photography Days, Spring Marketplace, and Family Garden Programs. Filoli also features farm gardens, a cutting garden, woodland garden, and stunning estate house (built 1917).
