The 54th Annual Belmont Greek Festival — Opa! The mid-Peninsula’s most spirited cultural celebration draws 15,000+ visitors to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross on Labor Day Weekend. Highlights: indoor dining hall and outdoor food booths with homemade moussaka, pastitsio, youvetsi, spanakopita, gyros, baklava, loukoumades, galaktoboureko, and more; live Greek band; folk dancers and singers; mythology play performed by parish youth; bookstore; church tours; and craft boutiques. Cash-free venue — festival debit cards available. After festival: Take N Bake frozen Greek entrees and fresh pastries available for home delivery. Free shuttle and local parking. Pets not permitted (service animals excepted).
