The 16-acre formal garden reaches peak bloom March–May with thousands of tulips\, daffodils\, wisteria\, cherry blossoms\, and roses. Regular open days include guided tours\, self-guided garden walks\, and café. Special ticketed events throughout the season include: Volunteer Weekend\, Photography Days\, Spring Marketplace\, and Family Garden Programs. Filoli also features farm gardens\, a cutting garden\, woodland garden\, and stunning estate house (built 1917).
